Central Camberwell is also close - here we like South London Gallery, Hermits Cave, Gladwell's, Veraison Wines, The Camberwell Arms, The Kerfield, Silk Road and Theo's. On the way there, TOAD bakery is a fabulous find (worth the queue).

For further social and shopping opportunities - Nunhead, Brixton, Herne Hill and East Dulwich are all local; North Cross Road in ED does a lovely Saturday market.
